Ai yi yiiii, I’d be afraid to go to the bathroom
Did you know you can train your brain not to wake you up at night to go to the bathroom? When you get the “full bladder” signal in the middle of the night ignore it. Trust me you won’t wet the bed. In about 2 nights your brain will stop signaling you that your bladder is full.
If you don’t trust what I’m saying, try painting your floor!
The art is absolutely amazing, just pure enchantment. To be able to wake and shower to those images, what an experience that would be. And no harm done to any dolphins, fish, or sharks in the creation of these works.
As for waking in the middle of the night – everything wakes me. I’m sending you a note.
Jacqui,
It does work retraining your brain not to alert you but you have to tough it out for a night or two. The bladder grows in size at night to hold the extra fluid so it’s not the bladder that’s talking, it’s our brains.
I learned this trick when we were doing a lot of camping. Who wants to crawl out of a tent in the middle of the night when it’s cold or wet?
Love the floor pics.
Hey, thanks for the good advice about ignoring that urge in the wee morning hours to get up and pee…I already have problems staying asleep and without getting up to pee, maybe my brain will now remain quiet until the sun comes up! Yay!!!!!
Do you know who did the art? Is it all the by the same person? Just gorgeous work.

Shari B-P,
The tromp l’oeil painting is pretty incredible but I don’t think I want to live with it.

I didn’t know that. As I become the older woman, I find the need for a solution to that problem. Thanks, Judy.

Jan,
It really does work. There’s research about this I read and I tried “toughing it out” a couple of years ago and I am not wakened now to go pee.
